Hello! My family moved to Newark NJ, from the Bronx NYC when I was around 12 years old :). I went to Gladys Hillman Jones Middle School (Now currently Global Studies High School) and Barringer High School top 20 of my class in 2007.

I have been in Newark ever since and I want to continue supporting my home, and of course the local community :). My current job is working as the Parent Liaison/Community Engagement Specialist at the newly opened Health and Wellness Michelle Obama Elementary School for NPS! I have been an NPS employee for 10 years! I love my job!

In the past I was a varsity volley ball player for both Highschool and College. I was always active with Yoga, running marathons, and even played a bit of softball with a local team. After studying for my masters I stopped prioritizing my health and focused more on my school and job, which in turn affected my mental health. I am now in a great place to start back up again!

This year I am hoping to get into a better sense of self by meeting like minded individuals who also fell off the health wagon lol. Looking forward to all the challenges!
